It's time — what's next for V1...
The V1 manifesto, how you can get involved, Nucleate's Biotech Event, & more...
It’s been 444 days since we launched V1.
From the early days as a newsletter with startup opportunities to launching our Discord community, V1 has come a long way. Most recently, we hosted the largest student-run startup career fair. Did we mention the amount of offers V1 members received? It blows us away every-time… 🤯
If there’s one thing about V1, it is that we don’t stop innovating. We’re not a student organization — we’re an incredibly driven group of builders who don’t believe in a status quo. We think big, and at the end of the day, we put our absolute best in everything we do. That’s just who we are.
Now, we’re excited to announce how you can get involved.
Announcing the next phase of V1…
(You could call this V1, V2... :P)
V1 is the community for ambitious student builders — engineers, artists, designers, founders, scientists, and more. Within V1, students build friendships, co-found ventures, and enable each other to reach their potential.
We provide the most driven students with an extraordinary network, exclusive opportunities within startups, and mentorship to grow and achieve great things.
Here’s how you can join…
We’re not going to take applications. We’re not going to have an interview process. We’re not going to judge you based on your prior experiences.
V1 invests in people with high growth potential — people that will grow faster than we can ever imagine. We look for energy, drive, and initiative. Sounds like you? Come join us.
It all starts with a coffee chat (like all great things in life ☕).
Shortly after, you’ll be a part of a short, 1 week social cohort where you’ll meet other exceptional student builders.
After the week, you’ll have the opportunity to join a V1-backed team, working with a strong group of builders to take ideas from 0 to 1. 📈
We’re talking about initiatives like a national startup career fair with stellar outcomes, software products with recurring revenue, and social experiments that impact tens of thousands of people — trust us, for whatever you are interested in, we’ll have a project for you. V1 projects are next-level, 10x better than anything out there right now — and we have the network, resources, and above all, energy to make these incredible things happen. ⚡
What are you waiting for?
It takes <1 minute to begin the process to become an official V1 member. Even if you aren’t interested in joining a core V1 team, signing up will give you access for all upcoming public events and opportunities, it’s *highly* recommended. (If you’re in the Discord / Newsletter, that does not make you an official member…you need to sign up to stay in the V1 Community)

Y Combinator Summer Internship Program, Summer 2022
Y Combinator is a startup accelerator that has incubated companies like Airbnb, Stripe, Coinbase, Instacart, Ginkgo Bioworks, Dropbox and more. YC is kicking off their Summer 2022 Internship Program for students looking for paid internship opportunities at fast-growing startups.
As an intern in the program, you’ll get access to invite-only events with founders. You build a network with other startup-minded students – useful if you want to start your own company one day. And because you'll learn valuable skills at their startups, they’re also giving special consideration to anyone who interns at a YC company and then goes on to apply to YC as a founder.
